I’m a graphic designer.

I believe in being an active partner with the client/lead early in the creative process this creates synergy and helps expedite decisions that can lead to savings down the road. I’ve managed art departments under stressful deadlines and handled photographers/web developers and freelance creatives and have strong conceptual skills as well as a thorough understanding of
pre-press and the print production process.

Creative Director
(2015 – present)
Creative supervision of 17 newspapers on Long Island plus creative responsibilities on magazines, special inserts and supplements.
• Supervise and work closely with creative team to maintain consistent and overall creative look of publications.
• Work closely with editorial team on publication content, cover designs and photoshoots.

Graphic Designer
(2009 – 2018)
Graphic designer for Long Island’s oldest (since 1853) and largest flower nursery. Design work included creating marketing material such as ad campaigns, direct mail mailings, special in-store promo- tions and graphics, web design and email banners supporting retail events such as annual flower show, fall festival and Christmas holiday among others.

Associate Creative Director
(1999 – 2009)
Creative assignments for clients such as the Craft & Hobby Association(CHA), St. Maarten Tourism Bureau, Redco Foods, Inc., Flora 2000.com, Galaxy Air, and Biotest Inc.
• Created a rebranding campaign for St. Maarten Tourism that included a 24-page destination brochure, website, destination video and advertising campaign (“Bring your Appetite for Life”).
• Designed and coordinated all creative marketing/collateral material for CHA’s trade show–65th largest in the US. Created consumer marketing approach that helped increase the craft and hobby industry by 17% over 3 years.
• Created ad campaign to introduced Snapple Hot Tea to the northeast region utilizing mass market approaches such as digital jumbotrons to web banners and Flash animation.
